BRIEF
Paper has been a medium that has been evolving alongside us for centuries. Living in the digital age where physical senses are slowly replaced by digital, Antalis has challenged students to create a physical experience for their Conqueror paper range that explores and celebrates the possibilities of paper.
Solution
Make Your Mark is a DIY typographic poster kit that commemorates the tactile nature of paper. Prioritising the sense of touch, the kit encourages constant interaction between the user and the paper, focusing on the act of picking up paper and feeling the paper textures flow between our fingertips.
The kit also doubles acts as a collection of typographic marks, which creates the graphical element of the poster kit. Like paper, typographic marks usually act take on a supporting role and are easily overlooked. The marks are printed on using various printing methods – silkscreen printing, hot foiling and digital printing – to showcase the versatility of the paper medium.
